Tangible Happiness

http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=18387102gh

Today's bit of {tangible happiness} is a sweet little preserves jar filled with handmade clay sculptures, made by Susan of Big Me Little World. She is a long time children's artist who has created an adventurous mouse character named, Max Basset. This little mouse friend in her creations shares how BIG ME views the LITTLE WORLD in his own sweet way.

How could you not be moved to let your dreams SOAR

etsy opens a world where vast skies of kindred souls
can spread their wings
and let
their pieces of tangible happiness soar

the happiness left in every passerbys heart
is the gusts of wind
beneath the sparrows wings

here there is room enough to fly
.

SUMMERTIME

magazines in the sunshine barefeet in the freshcut grass

popsicles dripping everywhere
fireflies
being chased by toddler hands

brisk breeze in the moonlight ...
oh summertime...you are {so loved}

Kind and Good & Pure.

You can't really get to "KNOW" me without learning my love of Gospel Hymns. Now- I am no singer...at all....but having been raised in the church and becoming a {Christian} at a young age these songs have been a comfort to me as they can go anywhere you go since they travel in your heart. As a Christian every little piece of my soul understands that our purposes here are really to journey on {seeking Him} and {sharing Him} with others so that on the last day, we do not hear... "you never mentioned Him to me"... so this little hymn is special to me. My heart sings it every day and it gives me perspective.

"Each day I'll do a golden deed {By helping those who are in need}; My life on earth is but a span, And so I'll do the best I can.
Life's evening sun is sinking low,
A few more days and I must go {To meet the deeds that I have done}, Where there will be no setting sun.
To be a child of God each day,
My light must shine along the way; I'll sing His praise while ages roll {And strive to help some troubled soul}.
The only life that will endure, Is one that's {kind and good and pure}; And so for God I'll take my stand, Each day I'll lend a helping hand.
I'll help someone in time of need, And journey on with rapid speed; I'll help the sick and poor and weak, {And words of kindness to them speak}.
While going down life's weary road
I'll try to lift some trav'ler's load; I'll try to turn the night to day, {Make flowers bloom along the way}.
Life's evening sun is sinking low,
A few more days and I must go To meet the deeds that I have done, Where there will be no setting sun.

So you will continue to find lyrics of my favorite hymns throughout this blog over time. When I post on a lyric that touches my heart I will title the post "KIND & GOOD & PURE"...because the hymns remind me that "the only life that will endure is one that's {kind} and {good} and {pure}.
